Travel Couchsurfing New Orleans Mercedes Benz Superdome

I'm due to update here. I feel bad for leaving anyone hanging that enjoys this blog!I had a great day today in New Orleans. I met up with a friend from my university, University of New Orleans. He had two tickets to the Saint's game two (preseason) against the Tennessee Titans! What a blast!!

I am a little bummed I didn't get to see Drew Brees play but the backups did look good! What a strong team.

It would be nice to be in Michigan but I am excited for the fall and LSU football. New Orleans is the best. What a great place.

Okay, enough of being cheesy. In all reality I'm looking to increase my viewership. Not for monetary purposes but in general I believe I have a lot of experience traveling on a budget and manifesting what seems to be impractical. I.e., being a college student with no parental support - traveling to different major cities on a flexible basis.

It is hard to live with risk and uncertainty.

Being in Florida for five months on a whim didn't come overnight. I can provide back-story on some of the travel I did last year that prepped me for such.

In all relevancy here, (and without being too wordy) I am good at taking what seems uncertain and solidifying it. Taking an Airbnb rental and using it as a short-term place to stay is a good idea when coming to a new area. It always helps to see what someone local has to say which provides invaluable resource especially in a new city. I have taken a place with no serious long-term agenda and turned it into a potential three-year stay.

Currently right now I'm working on Craigslist to figure out my living for the next semester. Being flexible and staying out of a lease is a great way to be nimble and travel.

Ideally I would like to head up to Baton Rogue for some LSU Tiger's games and to visit the school. I also want to hit up Houston, TX and eventually make way west (Colorado, Montana, North Dakota).

I will post pictures on here. For now however, I want to take the time to post a little back story, telling a little more about me and how I became so independent.
