WWII Museum, travel New Orleans

Posting some pictures of some of the things I saw at the WWII museum. It was a fun experience to break out and explore new ideas. 

I started reading a book recommended to me by family, "The Boys in the Boat" - Daniel James Brown. It kind of mirrors the same time that the war was starting.

Atlanta, GA AEA/ASSA

I went to AEA/ASSA in Atlanta, GA to interview for jobs. My experience was positive overall. AEA/ASSA is a massive conference. I was able to network and meet other students that are on the job market and students that are in their second year. Some of the guys (and gals) were job market as a 6th year student, and others were there presenting working as a post doctorate. I met a lot of students from top schools (MIT, HARVARD, Boston College, Carnegie Mellon). It was cool. Most of the students I met were from an economics background.

Spent the weekend cross country skiing and hiking in Grand Marais, Michigan. Great short trip for a break from the holidays. Got to see and old friend and do some outdoor activity.
